Обоснование. Стрессовое недержание мочи (СНМ) является значимым осложнением операций на предстательной железе, которое существенно снижает качество жизни пациентов. Несмотря на наличие эффективных методов хирургической коррекции данной патологии, некоторые больные не обращаются за специализированной помощью, что может быть связано с недостаточной осведомленностью о возможностях лечения.

Цель исследования – оценить уровень осведомленности и частоту обращаемости пациентов со СНМ после операций на предстательной железе за специализированной помощью.

Методы

Методы. Проведено одноцентровое ретроспективное исследование данных за 2023–2026 гг. 2 групп пациентов. В группу 1 включены 32 больных, обратившихся за консультацией по поводу СНМ, в группу 2 – 80 больных, прошедших телефонный опрос для оценки осведомленности о хирургическом лечении СНМ.

Результаты

Результаты. Среди обратившихся за медицинской помощью пациентов преобладали больные СНМ тяжелой степени. Наиболее позднее обращение отмечено при СНМ легкой степени. Среди опрошенных 47 % пациентов были осведомлены о возможности хирургического лечения, в то время как 53 % пациентов не знали о существовании методов лечения СНМ.

Заключение

Заключение. Недостаточная осведомленность и поздняя обращаемость, особенно при СНМ легкой степени, указывают на необходимость более раннего информирования пациентов о возможностях хирургической коррекции данного осложнения.

BACKGROUND

BACKGROUND: Stress urinary incontinence (SUI) is a significant complication of prostate surgery and severely impacts patients’ quality of life. Despite the availability of effective surgical correction methods, some patients do not seek specialized care, which may be related to insufficient awareness of available treatment options.

AIM

AIM: To assess the level of awareness and the frequency of seeking specialized care among men with SUI after prostate surgery.

METHODS

METHODS: A single-center retrospective study of data from 2023–2026 was conducted on 2 groups of patients. The group 1 consisted of 32 men who sought consultation regarding SUI. The group 2 included 80 patients who were surveyed by phone to assess their awareness of surgical treatment for SUI.

RESULTS

RESULTS: Among the patients seeking consultation, those with severe SUI predominated. The latest consultations were observed in patients with mild SUI. Less than half of the respondents were aware of the possibility of surgical treatment. CONCLUSION: Insufficient awareness and delayed help-seeking, especially in patients with mild incontinence, indicate the need for earlier patient education regarding available surgical options for this condition.
