Внешний вид гениталий зачастую является важным аспектом для мужчин, в связи с чем неудовлетворенность по этому поводу искажает восприятие собственного тела и заставляет обратиться за хирургической помощью. Подход к этому вопросу должен основываться на объективных потребностях пациентов, оцениваемых после тщательного анализа их запросов, анамнеза, психоэмоционального фона и анатомо-топографических особенностей. Был проведен несистематический обзор литературы с использованием PubMed и Scopus для поиска статей по эстетической хирургии полового члена, опубликованных за последние 15 лет. Основными оцениваемыми показателями являлись изменения длины и обхвата полового члена, послеоперационные осложнения.

The appearance of the penis is often an important aspect for men, and dissatisfaction with it distorts the perception of their body and makes them seek surgical help.

The approach to this problem should be based on the objective needs of patients, assessed after analysis of their requests, anamnesis, emotional background and anatomical features. A non-systematic literature review was conducted using PubMed and Scopus to search for papers on penile aesthetic surgery published in the last 15 years.

The main parameters evaluated were changes in penile length and girth, and postoperative complications.
